A FUZZY MATHEMATICAL MODEL FOR CULTIVABLE REGIONS FOR OLIVE

  • After reviewing briefly the regions suitable for cultivating olive (Olea europaea L.) in China in the present paper, we turn our attention to those ecological factors that play an important role in the regions. A fuzzy mathematical model of comprehensive judgement of multilayer structure——the generalized fuzzy model M(., (⊕)) is proposed. For example, a scheme of suitable regions for olive in Hubei, P. R. C. is obtained by means of the model, and it is proved that the model is highly accurate. We think that the fuzzy mathematical method of comprehensive judgement of multilayer structure can be suitable for choosing areas for introduction and acclimatization of different plants by only changing the ecological factors and the values of their weighe distribution.
