STUDIES ON THE BIOLOGY OF INSECTIVOROUS PLANT DROSERA PELTATA VAR.GLABRATA

Life history traits,population dynamics and insectivorous habits of Drosera peltata var.glabrata were primarily studied in both natural and cultivated population.The results were as follows:1this species is early spring plant according to its phenology;2 vegetative reproduction by corn is main reproductive way,the surviving rate of seedling is low;3 plants had the highest rate of insectivores in blossoming period;4 the biomass and seed production of insectivorous plants was higher than those of noninsectivorous plants.
