  • The seeds of rice(Oryza sativa) Shangnong Heinuo are induced to form calliby MS medium supplemented with 2,4-D and KT.High frequence of regenerated plantsare got from the calli by using phytohormone IAAand 6-BA after many times of subculture.The speed of regeneration can reach to & times per month.This is an ideal material for rice basic research and biotechnology.Paraffin section observation confirms thatthe regeneration is through the path of adventitious buds.We also selected some variants from the regeneration plants.
