长白山林奈木的解剖研究

THE ANATOMICAL IDENTIFICATION OF NORTHERN TWINFLOWER (LINNAEA BOREALIS L. CAPRIFOLIACEAE) IN CHANGBAI MOUNTAINS

  • 摘要: 本文对林奈木(Linnaea borealis L.)进行了解剖研究,证实林奈木系多年生小灌木,绝非半灌木。同时也弄清了该植物茎不能增粗和对高寒山区适应的原因。

     

    Abstract: In this paper, the anatomical identification of Linnaea borealis has been made. We presented the evidence that the plant has a good adaptaility to the environments in Changbai Mountains.Stem transvers show that the species can live in Changbai Mountains for many years.As one of the smallest bush plants in the world, it can resist the cold environment in Changbai Mountains, because it has special structures such as the special periderms, rays and pith.The cork in the thick periderms of roots and stems are made of big cube cells full of air. The cork cells play an important role in protecting the plant from heat. Many primary and secondary rays are observed in the secondary xylem. Each ray is made of one row parenchyma cells.The plant has bigger pith made of many bigger parenchyma's cells. The pith and ray cells can help the plant to store and transfuse the nutrient for growth.
