Abstract
The compositions of the volatile oil in the flower of Parakmeria lotungensis (Chun et C H. Tsoong) Law were studied by means of GC-MS technique, and the chemical structure of 57 constituents that account of 85.59% of total content were identified. The main components were β-Pinene(12.85%), d-limonene(7.78%), caryophyllene(4.89%). Besides, some sesquiterpenes oxide such as caryophyllene oxide(3.33%),1-H-cyclopentacyclopropabenzene(3.52%), α-cadinol (3.61%),α-pinene(3.22%)contained a large part of fraction in total oil. The antibacterial experiments of the oil had been studied on4 tested strains in vitro, it showed that the oil had some certain antibacterial activities to Escherichia coli, Salmonella typhi.
