作物根通气组织形成机理及与抗逆境胁迫关系的研究进展

Research progress on the formation mechanism of crop root aerenchyma and its relationship with stress resistance

  • 摘要: 根通气组织不仅是连接根系与地上部的气体运输通道,还与植物的抗逆境胁迫密切相关。本文主要综述了作物根通气组织形成的机理以及与抗淹水胁迫、抗重金属胁迫、抗干旱胁迫、抗低养分胁迫的关系,概述了如何通过栽培措施调控作物根通气组织形成,提高作物产量、水分和养分利用效率,并展望了未来作物通气组织的研究方向,旨在为“减水肥增效”栽培管理措施的研发和优良作物品种选育提供参考。

     

    Abstract: Root aerenchyma serves as a vital conduit for internal gas exchange between root and shoot, while also playing a central role in mediating plant resistance to abiotic stress. This review synthesizes current understanding of the developmental mechanisms underlying root aerenchyma formation and examines its functional significance in enhancing resistance to waterlogging, heavy metal toxicity, drought, and nutrient deficiency. Particular attention is given to agronomic strategies that modulate aerenchyma development to improve crop performance, including enhanced resource use efficiency and yield stability. This review further outlines prospective research directions aimed at advancing the integration of root aerenchyma traits into breeding programs and optimizing cultivation practices for the development of high-performing, resource-efficient (crop) cultivars.
