Abstract:
Ceropegia kachinensis Prain. (Apocynaceae, Ceropegieae), previously known from Myanmar, Bangladesh, and India, is newly recorded from China. A detailed morphological description and color plates are presented to support its identification. Although
C. kachinensis closely resembles
C. thwaitesii Hook., the original literature did not clearly delineate their distinguishing characters. This study clarifies the key diagnostic features separating these two taxa based on comparative morphological analysis.
