Abstract:
Based on a field investigation and literature survey, we analyze the composition and ecogeographical characteristics of orchid flora in Luoxiao Mountains. Results show 124 species from 47 genera, including 80 terrestrial, 36 epiphytic, and eight mycoheterotrophic species, accounting for 64.5%, 29.0%, and 6.5% of total species, respectively. The Orchidaceae are concentrated at an altitude of 400-1200 m, and their floristic components are complex with strong tropical characteristics. We analyze the endangered status of orchids in the region and propose a conservation strategy, which is of great significance for the protection and utilization of orchid resources.
