Abstract:
Gastrodia putaoensis X.H. Jin, a new species published in 2017, is reported here as a new record species for China. It was firstly found in northern Myanmar and has now been found in Tibet, China. Compared with the original description, more morphological details and photographs of floral anatomy are provided as a supplementary description of this species. The lip of this species differs from others by being subdivided into two parts, with the apical part densely covered with yellow hairs and densely covered with red papillae at apex.
