Abstract
During anther development, the tapetum consists of two parts: one is originated from primary parietal cells and the other istransformed from the connective cells, Later, two parts of tapetum are obviously different in shape Thus, the tapetal cells are not only dual in origin but also dimorphic. The formation of tetrad is simultaneous and the tetrad is tetrahedral. There are three colpi on the extine of mature pollen grain and each of them has a pore in the center. Anatropous, unitegmic and tenuinucellatae ovule grows on the axile placenta of bilocular ovary, The development of embryo sac belongs to the Polygonum type After the formation of megagametophyte, the cells constituting gametophyte show some evident variation.
