  • Since the years from 1980 to 1984, we have collected some Characeous materials from 14 counties and cities, including the Shennongjia Forest District in western Hubei and southern Jiangxi Provinces.Six species and two varieties belonging to two genera (Chara and Nitella) are identified and first time reported here.
