A STUDY ON THE ISOENZYMES OF 10 GRASSES AND GROUND COVERS

  • Peroxidase and esterase isozymes patterns in 10 plants including 2 grasses and 8 ground covers were studied via slab polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis(SPGE)technique.The primary result showed that SPGE may be used to identify and separate not only species and variety but also family and genus quite precise.It is very important to the study of grasses and ground covers both in molecular level and practice.The method was discussed in this paper as well.
