  • There are various types of marshes in Aershan,Great Xing’an Mountains,and Desmids is abundant there.260 specimens were collected in July 2004,August 2005,October 2005 and May 2006.Among these specimens,8 species and 2 varieties are new records of Desmids in China,they are Cosmarium pachydermum var.incrassatum,C.perforatum,C.protractum,Staurastrum denticulatum,S.dispar,S.furcigerum var.armigera,S.subavicula,S.subcruciatum,Staurodesmus insignis and Euastrum montanum.
