A PRELIMINARY STUDY ON THE DISTRIBUTION AND ECOLOGICAL ENVIRONMENT OF THE NATURAL RESOURCES OF CHIMONANTHUS PRAECOX IN BAOKANG,HUBEI

Chimonanthus praecox Link is a precious and rare plant in our country, According to the pratieal investigations in the field during the period 1984—1985, this paper describes the distribution and ecological environment of the natural resources of Chimonanthus preacox Link in Baokang. On the basis of the morphological charaeteristics of this plant and obtained results of its pollen by means of scanning electron microscope, the varieties are discussed, From the point of view of environmental protection and development of resource, the authors set up suggestions on a protection of Chimonanthus praecoz Link in Baokang.
