  • The present paper deals with the numerical classification of the cultivars of lotus(Nelumbo).1. Results obtained through Q cluster analysis are conductive to the revelation of inter-relationships among the cultivars.2. Results obtained through R cluster analysis indicate the biological distances in the characters.3. Results obtained through principal component analysis (PCA) show the ratio of information possessed by each character.
