Abstract
To solve the problem of low propagational coefficient on the production of Hubei Fritillary (Fritillaria hupehensis Hsiao et K. C. Hsia), and use the method of sand culture of single-scale propagation, this paper presents the method of raising its propagational rate and is related with the research on its principle. The result of the experiments shows: 1. the single-scale propagational rate is 5—9 times as high as the contrast of mother bulbs; 2. the pretreatment under low temperature (2—10℃) for 4—8 weeks and in dark place, can promote the growth efficiently and quick formation of bulblets; 3. the treatment of plant regulators (6-BA, KT, 2,4-D) on test materials is useful for the differentiation of scale of axillary bud primordia, its propagational rate is 9—11 times as high as mother bulbs; 4. according to our cbservation, (about 70—90 days of culturing)the daughter bulbs are mainly produced on basal plate and they can be also produced on abaxial side, but not on adaxial side.
