  • Fourteen year old (mature phase) apomictic seedlings of crabapple (Malus hupenhensis) were selected as trial materials.The results of RAPDanalysis showed that there was a DNAfragment of about 21 kb amplified by primer 701 from genomic DNAof leaves in juvenile zone.It can't be found in the amplified products of genomic DNAof leaves in adult zone of seedling.The underlying mechansims of phase change and the reasonable explanations of genomic DNApolymorphism were discussed.
