Abstract
The nuclear cytoplasmic interaction and related activity of nuclear envelope inthe cells of staminal hairs of Setcreasea purpurea were studied with electron microscope. Invagination of the nuclear envelope into the nucleus leads to the formation of nuclear grooves. Then organelle such as mitochondrion enters the nuclear groove by itselfmovement. Because of the formation of nuclear grooves increase the surface of nuclearenvelope which is advantaged of nuclear-cytoplasmic interaction and DNA moleculestransfering. Once the functions of nuclear groove are lost, the nuclear groove will transform into nuclear vacuole as the nuclear membrane fusion in the neck region of nucleargroove. Following the bi-membrane of the nuclear vacuole is digested by enzymes whichcome from cytoplasm, then the nuclear vacuole is disintegrated into nuclear matrix.
