  • The flora of Kunyu Mountain is one of the typical representatives of Shandong peninsula with some characteristics as follows:it is abundant in species,containing 878 species of 414 genera belonging to 116 families;it is notable in dominant phenomenon;geographic elements are complex,and the flora of Kunyu Mountain is of a temperate feature and has something with tropical flora;Most of the endemic species are neoendemics.The areal-types of genera of Kunyu Mountain flora is compared with neighboring regions(Taishan Mountain,Laoshan Mountain,Qianshan Mountain,Xiaowutaishan Mountain)using cluster analysis(UPGMA)and similarity coefficient of genera and species.The preliminary result shows that the difference of plants flora between Kunyu Mountain and Qianshan Mountain is notable.The study of flora shows that Shandong Peninsula and Liaodong Peninsula belong to the same subregion which is worth of advanced researching.
