  • The nectar and pollen plants are precious wealth to mankind.Henan Province situates in the central plains of China.Alot of such plants in it were preserved due to its plentiful water and heat resources and its various topography.On the basis of investigation, collection and sifting, 595 species and varieties of nectar and pollen plants were found, belonging to 296 genera and 98 families. Robinia psesudoacacia, Vitex negundo var. heterophyla, Ziziphus jujuba and Astragalus sinicus are the main nectar plants in Henan Province, which is the important production base of commodity nectar in China.The measures for protection and utilization of nectar and pollen plants are suggested.
