  • Life history traits,population dynamics and insectivorous habits of Drosera peltata var.glabrata were primarily studied in both natural and cultivated population.The results were as follows:1this species is early spring plant according to its phenology;2 vegetative reproduction by corn is main reproductive way,the surviving rate of seedling is low;3 plants had the highest rate of insectivores in blossoming period;4 the biomass and seed production of insectivorous plants was higher than those of noninsectivorous plants.
