  • The communities where Paeonia suffruticosa var. spontanea grows were classified into 10 types of vegetation, reprensenting10 associations,by TWINSPAN. The result of DCA proved that these ten types were rational. Among these 10 associations,Quercus liaotungensis forest is the most suitable habitat for Paeonia suffruticosa var.spontanea;the distribution patterns of Paeonia suffruticosa var. spontanea were studiedusing Morisita index,negative binomial index, variance/mean ratio. The results illustrated that the distribution patterns of Paeonia suffruticosa var. spontanea population are clump.
