  • An economic and efficient DNApolymorphism assay,AP-PCR,was adopted to Honglian type rice mitochondrial DNA.The result indicated obvious differences in the mt-DNA of CMS line,maintain line and its hybrid,which could further the research of CMS mechanism.Through the comparation of fingerprints among the materials,a CMS line specific mt-DNAb and TAF6F2 was isolated.Southern Blot showed it only existed in the mt-DNA of CMS line and the first generation hybrid.This band may be relative to the formation of CMS in Honglain type rice.
