  • A tamed Roselle(Hibiscus sabdariffa L.) callus strain was cultured in Gamborg B5 liquid medium adding 3% sucrose,4.5μmol/L 2,4-D and 2.3μmol/L Kinetin(Kt). The growth and ubiquinone accumulation of Roselle cell, the change of pH, nutrient assimilation in the medium were studied. Anon structured kinetic model was constructed by using these data. Verification showed that the prediction of cell growth, total sugar assumption and ubiquinone accumulation by these model had a very high coincidence with the experimental results.
