THE NEW RECORDS OF GENERA, SPECIES VARIETIES AND FORM OF CHLOROCOCCALES FROM CHINA

  • The present paper reports 40 species and 1 form belonging to 27 genera of Chlorococcales as the new records of China. Among the 27 genera, 10 are reported for the first time in China, The materials studied here were acuminated by Professor C.C Jao and Dr.Z Y. Hu of the Institute of Hydrobiology, The Chinese Academy of Sciences. The specimens named by Hu were collected from Hubei Province and the rest named by the later three authors were collected from Jiangsu and Zhejiang Province respectively.
