  • Keteleeria davidiana var. chien-peii is a rare species in Guizou Province of China at an elevation of 1060~1140m, one of the important components of the forest communities in this region. This study was carried out in Qingyuan town of Guiyang city and Yasahui town of Huishui county, Guizhou Province. On the basis of a census of all individuals of Keteleeria davidiazia var. chien-peii at various successional phases and different habitats, size structure, density, age structure spatial pattern, their dynamics and relationships to environment are described.
