A Floristic Study of the Seed Plants on Huanglong Nature Reserve in Sichuan Province

  • The Huanglong Nature Reserve is a provincial reserve,which is located in northwest of Sichuan Province.From the statistics and analysis of the areal-types of family,genus and specie basing primary survey of the Huanglong Nature Reserve,the results indicate as follow:(1) There are 474 species in 208 genera and 74 families of seed plants in the Nature Reserve.(2) The dominant families and genera are prominent.These families containing more 20 species only account for 8.7% of overall families,but genera in which account for 38.94% of overall genera and species account for 40.09% of overall species.The 26 dominant genera containing more 5 species account for 37.34% of overall species.take up dominant degree.(3) The flora of seed plants in the region shows distinctly the characteristic of Temperate in the level of family,genus and specie.Especially in the level of genus,the genus of Temperate account for 82.89% of overall genus,and the genus of North Temperate account for 49.73% of overall genus,so the characteristic of Temperate is distinct,and the elements of North Temperate account for huge proportion.(4) Chinese endemic species of seed plants in Huanglong Nature Reserve are abundant.(5) The flora are ancient origin and very complex in geographical elements.(6) The flora of seed plants in the region relates the flora of Southwest and Northwest of China tightly,especially the flora of Yunnan.
