  • Plagiomnium acutum is one of the winter hosts (moss) of the horned gall aphid (Schlechtendalia chinensis).Raising the quality and quantity of the winter hosts is necessary to get more galls. The study on the cutting branch propagation of P.acutum was reported.Experimental research results indicate: the optimum period and the preference temperature of propagation are April-June, September and 13~25℃, the optimum planta section length and the scattering section quantity are 0.5~0.8cm and 60~80g/m2.
