  • This present paper deals mainly with 108 precious and rare plants in Hubei, grouping under four classes on the principle of the publication "Priorities for conservation plants of China (1982)." Plants of the first three classes fit well with the publication, and within 4th class that are proposed by the author, and are regarded as the provincial representatives of Hubei precious and rare plants. So some of them, such as Deinanthe caerulea, Decumaria sinensis, Chuanminshen violaceum, should also be put in rational protection.
