  • In order to study and compile Flora Algarum Sinicarum Aquae Dulcis:Order Volvocales',authors collected specimens of algae from Sichuan,Guangdong and Hubei Provinces of China.We have found some rare and new Green flagellates.This paper reports five new species,ten new records of six Genera of Volvocales in China.Genus Myochloris Belcher and Nephroselmis Stein are recorded for the first time in China.Chlamydomonas apertus,Chlamydomonas szechwanense,Chlamydomonas striolatus,Haematococcus ellipsoidalis and Pseudcarteria sinica are described as new species.
