Abstract
The factors that influence asymbiotic germination, protocorm differentiation, and root induction of Goodyera biflora were studied. Results showed that cultivation under darkness and low light was beneficial for seed germination, while high light helped develop strong protocorms. Results also showed that 1/2 MS with 0.2 mg/L NAA suited seed germination and a MS medium with 1.0 mg/L KT,0.5 mg/L NAA and 2.0 g/L AC(active carbon)induced a PLB(protocorm-like body).Root growth was optimal on 1/2 MS medium with a supplement of 2.0 mg/L 6-BA,0.5 mg/L NAA,and 2.0 g/L AC.
