  • Six orchid species are reported new to Hainan Island,They are Bulbophyllum odoratissimum(J.E.Smith)Lindl.,Chrysoglossum ornatum Bl.,Cleisostoma menghaiense Z.H.Tsi,Eulophia zollingeri(Rchb.f.)J.J.Smith,Mischobulbum cordifolium(Hook.f.)Schltr.and Thrixspermum formosanum(Hayata)Schltr.All the vouchers are deposited in Chinese National Herbarium,Institute of Botany,Chinese Academy of Sciences(PE).
