  • The gene CfGST is cloned from the genome of Canadian native pest,Choristoneura fumiferana.The phenotype,ultra structure of leaf cells and survival rate under low temperature of the CfGST transge-nic Arabidopsis thaliana were investigated.Compare with the wild type A.thaliana,the transgenic one show sturdier stem,wider leaves,fewer branches and pods,lower height and growth speed.And the chloroplast and mitochondrion of the transgenic A.thaliana,which have a 25.14% higher survival rate,are better than the wild one treated with low temperature(5±1)℃.
