  • In this paper, the progresses in the study on detection methods of cyanobacterial toxin, methods of detoxification, relation of microcystin and environmental factor, effects of microcystin on aquatic organisms, synthetic mechanism of microcystin and those of Microcystis aeruginosa PCC7806,etc.are overviewed. It is shown that the research in china is not powerful in this field, and most are focused on the macroscopic researches.
