A SIMPLE METHOD FOR RAPID PLANT REGENERATION FROM TOBACCO MESOPHYLL PROTOPLASTS

  • A simple culture method for rapid plant regeneration from tobacco mesophyll protoplasts is described here. The callus stage was minimized by changing the phytohormone in medium just in time. Within 6—8 weeks, the isolated protoplasts developed into normal plants.
