  • The content of nutritional composition in the fruits of Actinidia chinensis Planch. var. chinensis was systematically analysed from 1983 to 1985. The results show that the nutritional composition content in the fruits of various strains (clones) is quite different. Vitamin C content is the highest in the fruits picked in the middle ten days of July and pulp has higher VC content than peel does The VC of the fine strain or clone in our orchard reaches above 300mg/100g. The content of total sugars is the highest in the second ten days of October.
