  • Viburnum betulifolium is an economic and ornamental plant. Its seeds an seedlings have dormancy nature. When the seed is in natural conditions, the respective dormancy of its hypocotyl and epicotyl lasts as long as 295-420 days and 50-120 days. In order to break the dormancy, appropriate treatments were made. The dormancy stage of the hypocotyl was shortened 1/2 or so under laboratory conditions and the dormancy of epicotyl was broken in cold. The epicotygrew fast under the natural conditions in spring
