  • The paper probed into the ecogeographic and distribution law of the woody flora in Henan, by taking the comprehensive information of 16 geographic elements of the woody flora in Henan and 36 ecological factors from the fields of illumination, temperature, moisture and soil, and using the method of the cluster analysis. To analyse the distributive relation in the various floral elements and the geographic correlation between floral elements and ecological factors showed that the low-critical factors of the ecology and the areal factors of the ecology are the main restricted factors in the distributive range of the xylophyta in Henan; with the effect of these restricted factors, the woody flora in Henan split into three distrbution patterns, the zonal fringing, the interzonal continous and the areal distributions.
