  • The seed oil from Celastrus angulatus Maxim. is a new resource of insect antifeedant. Two new sesquiterpene poly ester were isolated from this oil and the structures of this two compounds were identified by 2DNMR. They are 1α-benzoyloxygen-8β-nicotinyloxygen-9α, 11β-2 acetyloxygen-β-dihydroagarofurane; 1β-benzoyloxygen-2α, 8β, 9α, 11β-4acetyloxygen-β-dihydroagarofurane. Kupitengester 2, 3 were named.
