  • This paper deals with the distribution, habitat and biologic characters of Dysosma in Mt, Emei, The results show: 1. In the five species and one variety, there are primitive and advanced forms, It indicates that Mt. Emei is one of the centers of distribution and diversity of the genue. Dysosma; 2. There is obviously a vertical replacement between the species. All of the species prefer the habitat of shady with rich, acid and polygravel soil; 3. There are some differences among the species in growth rhythm and biological characters, pollen fertilitiness and germination condition and natural reproductive potential; 4. The reproductive rate can be increased by root-cutting.
