  • The investigation was made in the home of wufengjianbei a Hubei local traditional drug. The systematic studies on the botanic morphotype, medicinal organ (bulb) and active constituents of Wufengjianbei were also carried out. The results show wufengjianbei is Fritillaria taipaiensis P. Y. Li. Liliaceae. This provides a scientific basis for the widespread exploitation, further utilization of this ancient plant resources.
