  • The present paper reports on the method of in vitro culture of pollinated ovary in interspecific crosses, Brassica carinata×B.campestris,B.carinata×B.napus and B.carinata×B.juncea.Experimental result indicated that optimum time in vitro of ovaries of 3 kinds of interspecific crosses was 5-10、7-12 and 10-17 days after pollination, respectively.Through ovary culture, hybrid seedlings were obtainted in10 crosses.Casein hydrolysate was of no advantage to the development of embryos.0.2mg/L BA added to MS media promoted embryo formation.MS and L.S.M.medium as well as the culture technique used in this experiment was more fit to culture pollinated ovaries in B.carinata×B.campestris and B.carinata×B.napus.
