  • In the media containing 0.2 mol/Lof NaCl the cells of Phormidum lucidum were degredated day by day. Number of the cells was decreased to the lowest on the third day of culture. After three days the number of the cells was increased. The cell degredation was aggravated as the increased concentration of NaCl.Under isotonic or hypotonic concentrations the alga could proliferate slowly.Vitamin B, indole-acetic acid, zeatin and gibberellin could not give the alga to increase the salt-endurace.The cultureadaptation of alga to different salts was different. It was of the most endurance to the cumplex salt solutions.
