  • Morphogenesis of epidermal hair and stoma was observed through establishing the Thin Cell Layer (TCL) culture system of tobacco epidermis.It was found that uneven and slant cell division was related to redifferentiation of dedifferentiated cells.And formation of stoma in calli from TCLshowed the characteristics of adaption to enviroment while the cells redifferentiated.Besides,adventitious roots had been induced to regenerate successively.And floral bud differentiation was accomplished in TCLcultureof tobacco floral stems.
