  • Xanthomonas oryzoe Dowson ssp.Jiangling 691 strain with strong virulence and its extracts,toxin were used as selective agent to screen variants of rice (Oryza sativa L.cv.Wuangeng 105,Wuangeng 3037 and Kexuanyihao)which are resistant to Xanthomonas oryzae Dowson.443 somatic regenerations and 31 pollen regenerations were obtained.of 31 pollen regenerations,17 green plantlets were confirmed as haploid (n =12)by chromosome examination and therefore they were chromosome-doubled.Isozy me patterns showed that activity and bands of peroxidase isozyme of callus selected were increased.
