  • In the present paper, the additional description of Populus ciliata var.gyirongensis is presented,one scientific name in literature(i.e.P.wilsonii f.brevipetiolata) is treated as new synonym,a key to nineteen natural species is prepared, the geographic distributions of each species are described and a l.st of the poplars in this area (both correct names and synonyms)is provided.
