  • In this paper, the authors suggest using linear program method for the estimation of parameters in plant ecological models. The results from the linear program method and the minimum square method were compared and analysed with three examples. It is obvious that the former is superior than the latter in general, So linear program method is consciously worthy for futher studying and applying in ecological investigation.
