  • This test was carried out with polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis.Peroxidase isozyme data of eighty-three species of wild jujube and thirty-six varieties of jujube, which came from different places, were analysed with principal factor analysis and cluster analysis methods. The results showed that all the materials used in this testcould be classified into six clusters and three special types by unweighted pairgroup mean average(UPGMA) method. And the classification results had direct relationship with geography.Meanwhile, five zymogram types of leaf peroxidase of cultivars were obtained according to the appearance of isozyme band, while all the wild forms had twentytwo. One of the jujube varieties named Da Maya had special zymogram type and was conjectured to be the transitional cultivar between cultivars and wild forms in this test.
