Effect of Different Hormone on Rapid Propagation of Phalaenopsis

  • This paper reports the effect of different hormone on rapid propagation of Phalaenopsis. The results are following: Improved medium VW+6-BA 5.0 mg/L is the optimum medium for PLB (protocorm-like body) induced from bud; Improved medium VW+6-BA 3.0 mg/L is the optimum medium for PLB induced from stem opex. If the concentration of 6-BA is reduced, PLB may differentiate into plant; Medium KC+6-BA 0.1 mg/L+NAA 0.5 mg/L does good to plantlet-promoting. The optimum transplantation medium is water plant and the survival rate is high.
