  • Arabidopsis hemoglobin 3(AtGLB3) is a truncated hemoglobin.Compared to AtGLB1,AtGLB3 has a different origin,biochemical characteristic,and structure.To identify the subcellular location of AtGLB3,a recombinant plasmid with a green fluorescent protein gene(pUCGFP/AtGLB3) was constructed and transformed into onion epidermis cells by the gene gun method.The transient expression of AtGLB3 and GFP fusion protein in onion epidermal cells showed that AtGLB3 was localized in the cell membrane.
